Kisspeptin-10 has a plasma half-life of Short in published pharmacokinetic studies — short, since it's rapidly degraded by matrix metalloproteinases, which is why published protocols favor continuous or repeated-dose designs over single-shot ones.

Unlike PT-141 or melanotan II, Kisspeptin-10 doesn't act on melanocortin receptors at all — it's a KISS1R agonist, working upstream on the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis to stimulate GnRH release. That's the basis for its use in reproductive-endocrinology research, a distinct angle from the central-arousal/pigmentation research melanocortin agonists are used for.
