BPC-157 and TB-500 Research Hub
Two peptides studied together in tendon, ligament and soft-tissue repair models: single vials, pre-mixed blends, and handling notes.
What are BPC-157 and TB-500?
BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound 157) is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide derived from a section of a gastric protein sequence. It has been studied in models of tendon and ligament repair, gastric and intestinal mucosal protection, and vascular response to injury. Its CAS number is 137525-51-0 and its molecular weight is about 1419.5 Da.
TB-500 is a thymosin beta-4-derived peptide associated with actin binding and cell migration, studied in soft-tissue repair, cardiac ischaemia-reperfusion, and corneal wound-healing models. The two act through non-overlapping mechanisms and are frequently studied together, which is why QSC also offers pre-mixed blends. All are supplied strictly for laboratory research.

BPC-157 and TB-500 · Questions
What is BPC-157?
+
BPC-157 is a synthetic 15-amino-acid peptide derived from a gastric protein sequence (CAS 137525-51-0, about 1419.5 Da). It is studied in tendon and ligament repair, mucosal protection, and vascular response models.
What is TB-500?
+
TB-500 is a thymosin beta-4-derived peptide associated with actin binding and cell migration. It is studied in soft-tissue repair, cardiac ischaemia-reperfusion, and corneal wound-healing models, and its half-life is reported at 2 to 3 hours.
Why are BPC-157 and TB-500 studied together?
+
They act through non-overlapping mechanisms: BPC-157 is studied on local growth factors and angiogenesis, TB-500 on actin dynamics and cell migration. Pairing them lets researchers probe both in tendon, ligament, and soft-tissue repair designs. Our comparison article covers the literature.
What pre-mixed blends are available?
+
BPC-157 + TB-500 blends are available in 10, 20, 30 and 40 mg vials (equal parts of each). GLOW50 contains 50 mg GHK-Cu, 10 mg BPC-157 and 10 mg TB-500 (70 mg total), and KLOW-80 adds 10 mg KPV (80 mg total).
How do I reconstitute BPC-157?
+
A typical stock is 2.5 to 5 mg/mL in sterile or bacteriostatic water. Concentration equals the milligrams in the vial divided by the millilitres of solvent: a 10 mg vial in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL. Swirl gently and refrigerate after reconstitution.
How should they be stored?
+
Keep lyophilized powder at -20°C for long-term storage. BPC-157 has a short half-life, so divide reconstituted solutions into single-use aliquots, refrigerate, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Is a certificate of analysis available?
+
Batch HPLC and mass-spectrometry results are published on our COA library for products with batch data, and the COA for a batch accompanies your order where one exists.
Are prices per vial or per pack?
+
Prices are per 10-vial pack of one size. Email us to arrange a smaller order at the same per-vial price. Orders of $1,000 or more ship free, and delivery is typically about 10 to 15 days, duties paid.
Are these approved for human use?
+
No. The research-grade material QSC supplies is not approved for human or veterinary use and is sold strictly for laboratory research. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
