CBL-514 Research Hub
A small-molecule lipolysis compound that is often listed as a peptide: what it is, how it is handled, and lab-ready 5, 10 and 20 mg vials.
What is CBL-514?
CBL-514 is an investigational small-molecule compound studied for localised subcutaneous fat reduction. Published descriptions report that it acts directly on adipocytes, inducing lipolysis and fat-cell apoptosis rather than acting through a hormonal pathway, and it has been examined in preclinical and early clinical work on non-surgical body contouring.
It is often written "CBL-514 peptide", but it is a small molecule, not an amino-acid chain, so peptide handling habits should not be assumed: solubility and reconstitution depend on the formulation used in your protocol. QSC supplies research-grade CBL-514 as lyophilized powder strictly for laboratory research.

CBL-514 · Questions
What is CBL-514?
+
CBL-514 is a small-molecule compound studied for localised subcutaneous fat reduction. Published descriptions report that it acts directly on adipocytes, inducing lipolysis and fat-cell apoptosis rather than acting through a hormonal pathway, and it has been examined in preclinical and early clinical work on non-surgical body contouring. It is an investigational compound, not an approved product.
Is CBL-514 a peptide?
+
No. Although listings often say "CBL-514 peptide", it is a small molecule with no amino-acid sequence. That means peptide handling habits should not be assumed: solubility and reconstitution depend on the formulation used in your protocol.
Is CBL-514 a supplement?
+
No. It is an investigational small molecule, not a dietary supplement. QSC sells it only as a research-grade lyophilized powder for laboratory research, not for human or veterinary use.
Where can I buy CBL-514 for research, and what does it cost?
+
QSC sells research-grade CBL-514 in 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg vials, in 10-vial packs; current prices are shown above and on the price list. Prices are per 10-vial pack of one size, and you can email us to arrange a smaller order at the same per-vial price. Orders of $500 or more ship free, and delivery is typically about 10 to 15 days, duties paid.
Do you ship CBL-514 to the UK, Europe and other countries?
+
QSC ships delivered duty paid (DDP) to 58 countries, so we handle duties and taxes; the shipping page lists the current countries. Whether a research compound may be imported is set by your own country's rules and remains the buyer's responsibility.
Which vial size should I choose: 5 mg, 10 mg or 20 mg?
+
Choose by how much stock solution a run needs. The 5 mg vial limits waste in small or exploratory work, and the 20 mg vial suits larger or repeated runs. Each 10-vial pack contains ten identical vials from one lot.
How do I work out a concentration after reconstituting CBL-514?
+
Concentration equals the milligrams in the vial divided by the millilitres of solvent: a 10 mg vial in 2 mL gives 5 mg/mL. QSC does not specify a solvent for this small molecule, so use the one your protocol calls for; the reconstitution calculator on our tools page does the arithmetic. We do not provide dosing for people.
How should CBL-514 be stored?
+
Keep the lyophilized powder sealed, cool, dry and away from light, and refrigerate the solution after reconstitution. Stability in solution depends on the solvent you use, so prepare only what a run needs.
Is a certificate of analysis available?
+
Batch HPLC and mass-spectrometry results are published in our COA library for products with batch data. If the lot you are buying has no published report yet, ask us for the documentation before ordering.
Is CBL-514 approved for human use?
+
No. It is an investigational compound, and the research-grade material QSC supplies is not approved for human or veterinary use; it is sold strictly for laboratory research. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
Published by QSC Peptidology for research-community reference. Not medical advice, and not a recommendation for human or veterinary use. All products are sold strictly for laboratory and research use only.
