GHK-Cu 50mg vs 100mg: Choosing a Vial Size for Your Protocol

How to match vial size to stock concentration, working volumes, and how fast you will use the solution.

QSC supplies GHK-Cu in 10-vial packs of two vial sizes, 50 mg and 100 mg. A pack therefore contains 500 mg or 1,000 mg of GHK-Cu in total, spread across ten identical vials from the same lot. The right size depends less on price than on how quickly you will use a reconstituted vial.

How do the two compare on price?

At current list prices (October 2026), the 50 mg pack is $55.92, about $5.59 per vial or $0.112 per milligram, and the 100 mg pack is $103.92, about $10.39 per vial or $0.104 per milligram. The 100 mg vial is therefore roughly 7% cheaper per milligram. Check the product page for live prices.

Match the vial to your stock concentration

Typical stock concentrations are 5 to 10 mg/mL. A 50 mg vial reconstituted with 5 mL gives 10 mg/mL; with 10 mL it gives 5 mg/mL. A 100 mg vial needs 10 mL for 10 mg/mL and 20 mL for 5 mg/mL. Confirm your vial can hold the volume before you add solvent, since a larger vial's higher volume requirement can be the limiting factor.

Think about how fast you will use it

Reconstituted GHK-Cu is generally usable for several weeks refrigerated. If a protocol uses a small amount over a long period, a 100 mg vial's unused solution may exceed its useful life, which makes the smaller vial less wasteful despite the higher per-milligram cost. If you run many replicates or arms in a short period, the larger vial reduces the number of separate reconstitutions, and therefore the variation between them.

Dividing a reconstituted vial into single-use aliquots extends how much of it you can use, but avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Decision guide for choosing a 50 mg or 100 mg GHK-Cu vial based on how quickly the reconstituted solution will be used

Why the ten-vial pack matters

Ten vials from one lot lets you reconstitute vials on different days as needed, keeping lyophilized stock stable at -20°C in between, and use the same lot across every arm of a study, which removes lot-to-lot variability as a confounder.

Single peptide or pre-mixed blend?

If your design also needs BPC-157 and TB-500, the pre-mixed GLOW50 blend (50 mg GHK-Cu, 10 mg BPC-157, 10 mg TB-500; 70 mg total per vial) combines them in one reconstitution step. KLOW-80 adds 10 mg KPV (80 mg total). For GHK-Cu alone, choose the 50 mg or 100 mg vial based on the factors above. All are for laboratory research use only.
