How paying by card works

A real walkthrough of what you’ll actually see — five steps, roughly 5–10 minutes the first time, faster after that.

In a hurry, or this feels like too much? Paying with crypto from your own wallet skips all of this — no ID check, and it saves you 10% too.

1. Place your order, choose Pay with crypto or card

You'll land on our processing partner's page. It opens on a crypto deposit view ("Scanning Ethereum for your deposit..."): if you're paying in crypto, send the exact amount shown from your wallet and you're done, with no ID check. To pay by card instead, look for "Card & wallets" under "Don't have crypto?" and click that.

2. Confirm the amount

A "Buy or Sell Crypto" panel opens showing what you send in USD and what gets purchased in USDC — the total is a few percent higher than your order total (their conversion fee, not an extra charge from us). Check the Terms of Use box and tap Buy. The USDC wallet address is filled in automatically — you don't need to find or enter one yourself.

3. Verify your email

A 4-digit code is emailed to you — not from QSC, but from Changelly or Banxa (the identity-verification partners behind this step). Check spam if you don't see it within a minute or two; it's a real, expected step, not junk mail.

4. One-time ID verification

First-time card payments ask for a government-issued ID (passport, driver's license, national ID, or residence permit) — select the document type and issuing country, then photograph the document (and typically a quick selfie to match it). This is a one-time check per person, not per order.

5. Choose how to pay

Once verification clears, choose how to pay: card, or Apple Pay / Google Pay where they are offered for your country and device, then complete the payment. After payment, you're redirected back to our site with your order marked complete — no need to do anything else or come back and check manually.

Every one of these steps happens on our processing partner’s own secure pages — we never see or store your ID or card details. Once payment clears, you’re brought back here automatically.

Common questions

Why does a page called "Changelly" or "Banxa" show up? Is this a scam?

+

No — QSC can't process cards directly (standard card networks don't support research-chemical merchants), so paying by card routes through our processing partner, PayRam, which in turn uses Changelly or Banxa to convert your card payment into the USDC we receive. Three names in the chain looks unusual, but it's the standard structure for this kind of payment, not a sign anything's wrong.

Why does my bank statement say "crypto purchase"?

+

Because that's technically what happens on the processor's end — your card buys USDC, which settles with us. It's expected, not an error. If you'd rather avoid that altogether, paying with crypto from your own wallet (the default view on the payment page) skips this entirely and still saves 10%.

Do I have to do the ID verification every time?

+

No — it's a one-time check tied to you as a buyer on that processor. Repeat orders paid the same way shouldn't ask again.

The card page isn't loading, or it's stuck. What do I do?

+

Message us on WhatsApp or Telegram from the payment page — we'll get you paid another way (crypto, PayPal, or Revolut) rather than leaving you stuck.

Is there a faster way to pay?

+

Yes — paying with crypto from your own wallet on the same payment page (Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT or USDC) is self-serve, has no ID-verification step, and saves you 10% too. It's the recommended option if you're comfortable with it.
